1. Rules
1.1 The event will be governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
1.2 Snipe Class Rules will apply.
2. Advertising
Boats may be required to display advertising chosen and supplied by the organizing authority.
3. Eligibility requirements
3.1 To be entitled to participate in Riksidrottsförbundets championships, each competitor must comply with ISAF Regulation 19.
In order to obtain the title Swedish Champion (SM) the competitors must be a Swedish citizen or has resided in Sweden for at least six months the past twelve months before the competition starts.
3.2 Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third party liability insurance.
3.3 Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organising authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
4. Entries
4.1 Advance entry shall be made not later than July 31 on http://www.snipe.se.
4.2 The advance entry shall include the following:

4.3 The entry fee is 1000 SEK and is paid to BG548-4969.
5. Registration and measurement checks
5.1 Registration shall be made at the race office not later than 13.45 August 27.
5.2 Measurement certificate shall be presented prior to racing.
6. Sailing Instructions
6.1 The sailing instructions will be handed out upon completion of the registration.

7.2 8 races are scheduled
8. Race format
8.1 The race format will be fleet race.
9. Racing area
9.1 The racing areas will be on Gullmarsfjorden, south of Lysekil.
10. The course
10.1 Course alternatives will be according to SCIRA requirements.
11. Scoring
11.1 The low point scoring system of RRS Appendix A will apply, modified so that when three or fewer races have been completed, a boat’s series score will be the total of her race scores.
11.2 3 races are required to be completed to constitute a championship.
12. Prizes
12.1 Prizes shall be awarded to the skipper and crew for the top 6 places
